This translates roughly to 1950 through 1995. Top titles include Batman and Superman from DC Comics, and Spider-Man, Hulk and many others from Marvel Comics.<br /><br />I realized the other day, as I scanned probably my two thousandth comic cover, that I've got quite a few covers here. I might be strange, but, my attraction to comic books primarily lies in the cover art. I think the art is fascinating, and the cover usually represents a deeper, more intense depiction from the artist.<br /><br />Here's a secret - I've been selling comics for more than 10 years and I've NEVER read a comic from cover to cover. I've tried to read some story lines, but quickly lost interest.<br /><br />Back to my blog...I'm betting there are others who share my passion for the cover art. So I'm going to post the actual covers I have scanned here. Naturally, they will be biased towards my likes, after all it is my blog.<br /><br />after I get a few of my favorites in here. I look around to figure out how to post some polls for others favorite covers.
